Juventus will look to take another step closer to the Serie A title with a win on the road at Genoa today.

The Italian champions are unbeaten in 26 away games in the league and are in high spirits following their superb Champions League comeback against Atletico Madrid last week.

Max Allegri’s side are yet to lose a single game on the domestic front this season and three points would see close in on yet another Scudetto.

They’ll look to continue their fine form without talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, however, with the Portuguese ace rested.

Pandev waits for the contact from Can and hits the floor to win his side a free-kick in a good shooting position. Criscito leaves it for Radovanovic, who – after much build-up – blasts it straight into the charging two-man wall.

70 minsminute by minute

Prandelli makes his second change of the contest. Stuaro is on for Lazovic, who has had a good game but has started to tire.

67 minsminute by minute

Genoa see out the danger as Dybala blazes a volley off target from the latest corner. Juventus have a little over 20 minutes to find a breakthrough.

66 minsminute by minute

Juventus win a series of corners, each of which are some way off the mark. The latest one is helped back into the middle by Can, and it hits a home player on its way through as another corner is awarded.

64 minsminute by minute

SAVE! This is turning into an entertaining game of football, even if it remains goalless. Genoa are starting to take a few risks, sensing that Juventus are there for the taking. Kouame lays the ball off for Pandev, but the substitute’s tame shot is right at Perin.

62 minsminute by minute

Juventus have started to play some nice football. A slick move ends with Can attempting an audacious overhead kick at the back post, which he sends wide of the target. That was better than his first-half volley, at least!

58 minsminute by minute

GOAL RULED OUT! More drama here as Juventus’ goal is ruled out. There was apparently an offside infringement in the build-up, so Dybala’s goal has been wiped out.

56 minsminute by minute

GOOAAALLL!!! GENOA 0-1 JUVENTUS! Juventus think that they have taken the lead through their first on-target attempt of the contest, though VAR will first have to review it. Cancelo pounces on a loose ball and cuts it back for Dybala, who sweeps it past Radu with the help of a deflection Criscito. The question now is whether the goal will stand…

60 minsminute by minute

There is also a first change of the match for Genoa, as Pandev replaces Sanabria through the middle.

60 minsminute by minute

Allegri, having seen his side denied a breakthrough goal by VAR, brings on Bernardeschi – superb against Atletico in midweek – for Cancelo.

54 minsminute by minute

Radovanovic runs into Cancelo to send his opponent flying. Every time Juventus try to get the ball forward, Genoa get eight or nine players in front of the box. This is turning into a real tough test for Allegri’s side.

52 minsminute by minute

Mandzukic moves out wide to the right, which is not where you want him. The ball is played across to the opposite flank and Mandzukic is back in the box when Alex Sandro’s cross arrives, but he is unable to get on the end of it.

50 minsminute by minute

Romero steps across Mandzukic in the box and the Juventus forward goes to ground. The referee does not point to the spot, but that was silly from the Genoa defender.

49 minsminute by minute

In the last five Serie A games at this ground between Genoa and Juventus, the home side have alternated between defeat and a win. Juventus won 4-2 here last season… make of that what you will!

47 minsminute by minute

Zukanovic fouls Dybala six yards outside the box. The angle allows Dybala to go for a shot-cross of sorts, aiming for the bottom corner, but it is turned behind for a corner. Sandro shoots wide from the set-piece.

RESTART! Juventus, unchanged from the first half, get us back up and running at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

Despite having the better of the possession, Juventus ended the first half without a single attempt on target. Having made six changes to his side, though, and with Ronaldo not in the squad today, Allegri will be quietly pleased that it remains goalless. Genoa may well rue failing to take one of their chances.

The sides go into half-time all square at 0-0. Genoa had the better of the first-half chances, with Sanabria and Kouame both testing Perin, and they also had a penalty awarded and then ruled out by the officials. Kouame’s downward header hit Cancelo on the arm, but it was accidental and the ball may even have hit the home attacker’s arm first, meaning the decision to overrule the initial penalty call was correct.

HALF-TIME: GENOA 0-0 JUVENTUS

45+1 minsminute by minute

Two minutes have been added on at the end of the first half. Juventus win a free-kick in a good crossing position, but they opt to go short and that proves the wrong choice.

45 minsminute by minute

Allegri will be happy to hear the half-time whistle in the next couple of minutes. Radovanovic carries the ball forward and is urged to shoot, which is exactly what he does. The long-ranger hits a Juve player and is cleared away.

43 minsminute by minute

GOOD CHANCE FOR ROLON! A great passing move from Genoa ends with a cross from the right falling nicely for Rolon to strike from 15 yards. The midfielder’s first-time shot is sent high over the crossbar, with Perin happy to watch it all the way.

41 minsminute by minute

Dybala’s outswinging corner drops perfectly for an unmarked Can to volley. The midfielder opens up his body but he fails to make any contact with the ball – shocking attempt! That ankle injury sustained by Mandzukic is not enough to force him off the pitch.

40 minsminute by minute

Mandzukic goes up with two Genoa defenders in an attempt to get on the end of Dybala’s cross. The Juventus forward lands awkwardly and is clutching his ankle. This is a concern for Allegri…

38 minsminute by minute

Alex Sandro, who has not done a great deal so far, aims to pick out a team-mate in the centre with his cross. A couple of Genoa players get their heads to it first, though, and the home side are able to regroup. This is a good spell for Juventus.

36 minsminute by minute

Genoa’s best work is coming down their left through Lazovic. The home side are not afraid to cross the ball into the middle towards Sanabria, where Perin is waiting to pluck it out of the air. The visitors are not exactly holding on, but they are very much second best.
