India's Prathamesh Maulingkar wins Mister Supranational 2018

Prathamesh MaulingkarfromIndiawas adjudgedMister Supranational 2018during the third edition of the pageant that took place in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland. The man of the hour defeated 39 other finalists to clinch the main title for India the very first time.

Prathamesh was sashed by Gabriel Correa Mister Supranational 2017 and he received the trophy from Miss Supranational 2018 Valeria Vazquez. At the same pageant Mister Supranational Poland Jakub Kucner was adjudged first runner up. The second runner up title was won by Mister Supranational Brazil Samuel Costa. Meanwhile the third runner up title was conferred on Mister Supranational Thailand Kevin Dasom, with Mister Supranational Thailand Ennio Fafieanie winning fourth runner up title.

The pageant witnessed a never seen before choreographed sequence with all the finalists setting the stage ablaze for the opening number. Next up it was all about slaying the ramp and the contestants lived up to the promise with each one of them setting the runway on fire with their respective female partners. The pageant finale also brought on stage the best musicians of the country under one roof which was kind of a unique. The next segment was all about the swimwear round with finalists walking the ramp with all smiles.

Thereafter it was all about who makes it to the Top 20 and the countries which made the cut included Mister Brazil,Mister India, Mister Puerto Rico, Mister Canada, Miss Argentina, Miss Malta, Mister Netherlands, Mister Sri Lanka, Mister USA, Mister Curacao, Mister Mexico, Mister Norway, Mister Czech Republic, Mister Panama, Mister Myanmar, Mister Russia, Mister Thailand, Mister Spain, Mister Poland, and Mister Slovakia.
The shortlisted contestants then advanced to the formal wear round wherein each of them looked dapper in their respective suits giving rare insight of their attire for the night. The contestants were then trimmed to Top 10 as confirmed semi finalists for the evening. The list included Mister India, Mister Thailand, Mister Netherlands, Mister Sri Lanka, Mister Slovakia, Mister Dominican Republic, Mister USA, Mister Poland, Mister Norway, and Mister Brazil. Next up, it was the all important Q and A round wherein the Top 10 finalists gave a short interview to the host of the evening Ivan Padrez based on the questions selected by the judges. At the end it was Prathamesh Maulingkar from India who was announced the main winner. It is indeed a proud moment for the entire nation as it is India’s maiden win at Mister Supranational pageant.
