Telangana assembly elections: Prajakutami likely to win 65 seats, says

HYDERABAD: Former MP Lagadapati Rajagopal on Friday said Prajakutami is likely to win 65 of the 119 assembly seats and TRS is expected to win 35 seats. The figure to form government is 60.
Lagadapati said Kutami may win 65 seats with a rider that it may win or lose 10 seats and TRS 35 segments. About TDP, he said of the 13 seats TDP contested, there was a tight contest in only 10 between TRS and TDP and TDP would emerge victorious in 7 with a rider of adding or subtracting two constituencies. BJP is likely to increase its tally. “The BJP is likely to win 7 segments with possibility of either adding two more or losing two seats. This time 7 independents are likely to win and increase or decrease their tally by 2 seats.”
“Of 13 seats contested by TDP, independents are likely to win in two constituencies and one by MIM (Malakpet),” Lagadapati added revealing the details of surveys by his team.
